On the question of improvement of operational-search activities on countering extremism on the Internet

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of operational-search counteraction to the spread of extremist ideas committed using information and telecommunication technologies. The legal basis and practice of the activities of the operational divisions of the internal affairs bodies for the effective solution of tasks to combat manifestations of extremists have been studied. A methodology for identifying offenses of an extremist nature, as well as measures to improve this area of activity, are proposed.
