On the issue of education of patriotism in higher education

The article analyzes the problem of the formation of patriotism and citizenship during the period of students' education in higher educational institutions. Educational work today is considered as an integral part of the activities of a higher educational institution. The author considers groups of factors that reduce the effectiveness of efforts to form civil self-identification among students, and also offers recommendations for organizing civic-patriotic activities among students.
