Features of a scientific and pedagogical research: notes on dissertation requirements

The article analyzes the quality of the dissertation research on the activities of a teacher-mentor at the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, aimed at forming the professional and moral position of a cadet. On the example of a certain dissertation, the features of a successful scientific and pedagogical research are highlighted.
