Now the special place in the pharmaceutical market is occupied with the medicinal preparations of phy-togenesis containing flavonoids which possess a wide spectrum of biological activity, including antioxi-datic, hepatoprotective, capillar-strengthen and angioprotective. To the perspective sources of reception the flavonoid preparations, including rutinum, it is possible to refer buckwheet sowing grass (Fagopyrum sagittatum Gilib.), widely cultivated in Russian Federation, however still has unresolved a problem of standardization of raw material of the given plant. New approaches to standardization of sowing buck-wheet raw material are offered. Original techniques of definition the parameters of quality of raw mate-rial which are recommended for including in normative documentation are developed. The contents of rutinum in a buckwheet sowinh grass cultivated in Samara oblast, is in the range of 2,50-3,70%. Dynam-ics of flavonoids accumulation depending on phase of vegetation of a plant is studied.
