Quality of education in the context of philosophical discourse of ontology

The article substantiates the meaning of the educational reality concept, reveals its ontological nature and structure, and explores the features of its transformation in the modern conditions. The search for the ways to build a new ontology of social reality, which would exceed the bounds of existing stereotypes, raises a problem of correlation between the process of education quality improvement and the particular forms of its implementation. The author analyzes a role of communicative rationality in the social construction, which suggests a new way of understanding of the existing educational practices and opens a new range of possibilities. It is noted, that the assessment of innovations in terms of their impact on improving the quality of educational services and meeting the needs of consumers is defined by criteria and methodologies of national independent agencies of quality evaluation.
