Quality of the organization of educational process at a medical university: students’ opinions

The results of a survey of students of the pediatric faculty of a medical university are presented. The relevance of the study is determined by the need for systematic monitoring of the organization of the educational process to ensure the quality of educational activities. The questions in the questionnaire compiled by the authors focus the attention of graduate students on the reasons for choosing a university and specialty, make it possible to determine the motives for choosing an educational trajectory, and to find out the preferences of future pediatricians at the stage of postgraduate education. The analysis of respondents’ opinions allowed us to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of career guidance work at the university, about students’ preferences in choosing a place of study and the profile of their future profession, about their readiness to engage in research activities or the desire to devote themselves to a narrow specialization. This makes it possible to adjust the organization of educational activities at the university in order to improve its quality and plan the provision of personnel to the region’s healthcare system.
