The article deals with the educational aspect of the children's life quality in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The main assessment criteria of satisfaction with the educational sphere expressed by the respondents are defined. Based on the analysis of the social study results, the author discussed the index of educational component of the children's life quality in the context of territorial differences.
