Quality of Life of Elderly People in China: Consumer Value Components

The article examines the key aspects affecting the quality of life of the elderly in China, identifying and summarizing its key value-added components: assistance and support from family, social security systems, and the inclusion of older adults in the digitalization of public life. Each of these aspects is analyzed separately, identifying existing problems that can negatively affect the lives of older people. For example, a lack of help from family can lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation. Problems in the social security system, such as insufficient funding or limited access to services, can also worsen the quality of life. The involvement of older people in digital processes often faces difficulties due to a lack of skills and knowledge in using modern technologies. The article emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach to improving the quality of life of older people, taking into account their needs and problems in each of the considered areas.
