Quality of life of small countryside community residents: sociological aspect

The authors present the results of a sociological study of the quality of life of residents of the Krasnoarmeisky village of the Altai Territory, which in terms of population belongs to small communities. The study was conducted in March and April 2021 using the questionnaire survey method. Analysis of the data obtained made it possible to identify a number of problems causing dissatisfaction with the quality of life in the village: poor mobile communications and the Internet, unemployment, lack of public transport, lack of conditions for leisure, poor quality of roads, inadequate medical care, and others. These indicators of quality of life are the main reasons for young people to move to nearby towns or cities. The results of a sociological study can become the basis for the development of planned measures for socio-economic development and improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of this settlement and village settlements similar in number
