Personnel policy in the law enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation

In the article the author analyses the state of personnel processes in the law enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation. The study is important because the employees of law enforcement bodies provide public security even in conditions of personnel shortage. The article proves that complex and long-term measures, such as patriotic education, improvement of social protection of employees, specialised educational programmes, are necessary to eliminate the shortcomings of personnel policy in law enforcement bodies. These measures will make it possible to train officers who are ready to perform their duties effectively.
