Personnel vulnerability of the Russian labor market in industry and service sector

The expected demand for labor, unfavorable changes in the structure of the economically active population, and the economic inactivity of young people create personnel vulnerability in the Russian labormarket both in industry and in the service sector. Today it is manifested in a "compression" of labor supply, personnel shortages, and an increase in the share of NEET youth. Personnel threats are dampened by platform employment. The article describes the most acute challenges in the labor sphere, ignoring which may lead toa slowdown in the pace of development of the Russian economy. A detailed statistical analysis of what is happening on the Russian labor market is provided, data on the age and sectoral specifics of the labor market isprovided; new formats for organizing labor activity were considered; the positive and negative consequencesof their use in practice are highlighted.
