Staffing the cinema entertainment system of the population of the Middle Volga region during the Great Patriotic War

This article examines the issues on staffing the cinema entertainment system of the population of Kuybyshev (Samara), Penza and Ulyanovsk regions being a part of the Middle Volga region during the Great Patriotic War. The study shows that the occurred quantitative reduction of administrative staff, mass profession specialists, and staff members led to the acute staff shortage in all film organizations. Based on the conducted analysis it is concluded that the applied forms and methods of personnel staffing for different cinema establishments has a significant meaning for organizing the cinema entertainment of the regional population during the stern years of war.
