He article is devoted to the important problem of implementation new human re-source (HR) technologies in state civil service. Ministry of Labour and Social Protec-tion of the Russian Federation developed the system of comprehensive assessment (including social assessment) of civil servants’ professional performance and me-thodological toolkit for its implementation as part of realization Decree of the Russian Federation President of July, 7, 2012 No. 601 "On main directions of public management improvement". The article discusses the possibility of comprehensive assessment in attestation of civil servants; analyzes the elements of comprehensive assessment system and the possibilities of its high-quality implementation in the Republic of Buryatia. The article is based on the analysis of HR services work experience and attestation of civil servants in the Republic of Buryatia.
