Department of general and analytical chemistry

The Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry was organized in 1995 with the opening of the Buryat State University. The basis of the department was made up of highly qualified specialists, graduates of the leading universities of the country. Now the department consists of 3 doctors of Chemical Sciences, 5 candidates of Sciences. Today the department trains graduates in two specializations "inorganic chemistry" and "environmental chemistry, chemical expertise and environmental safety". Due to the close integration with the institutes of the Buryat Scientific Center of the SB RAS, our students have the opportunity to get acquainted with scientific laboratories and participate in scientific work from the first year.
