This article discusses the issue of improving service in Russian railway transport in order to attract more passengers; the author also substantiates the relevance of the topic by analyzing the current state of the passenger transportation system, highlighting the main problems and challenges. The presented work provides judgments about the influence of service quality on the choice of vehicle, emphasizing the role of comfort, safety and additional services in creating a positive travel experience. The author draws attention to the use of a variety of research methods, including an analytical approach, comparative analysis of global practices and statistical data analysis, to identify successful strategies and innovative solutions. It is noted that the article provides a comprehensive view of the problem, analyzing not only internal factors, but also global experience, which makes the study unique. In conclusion, the importance of developing rail transport as an efficient and convenient means of transport, supported by modern quality standards and passenger expectations, is emphasized.
