Stone tools of medieval settlement Prospikhinskaya Shivera I: use-wear analysis

The article presents results of use-wear analysis of stone tools from medieval settlement Prospikhinskaya Shivera I. Characteristic of main distinguished functional types of tools with peculiar use-wear features is given for economic fields on base of carried out investigations. Functional kit of tools, its ratio and degree of worn out have allowed to determine the features of supplying system of medieval inhabitants of the settlement. As a result metallurgy and metal treatment have been called prevalent direction of economic activity on the settlement. As the same time other productions have been fixed too. First of all these are ones connected with treatment of hunting and cattle breeding products. This entire complex characterizes economic life on the settlement of medieval metallurgists in full measure.
