“Softened” or “Repentant” canon by Saint Gregory of Sinai in the canon book of Saint Cyril of White Lake

The article is devoted to publishing previously unreleased “Softened” Canon by St. Gregory of Sinai who was the most important figure of hesychasm. The article contains also the Slavonic text of the canon, his readings, the experience of translation into modern Russian and comments. An introductory information about the source for the publication and about the prevalence of the work is also given.
