Map of off-road transport permeability of the Junggarian plain on the geomorphological basis

The article is devoted to the construction of a map of the off-road transport permeability of the Junggarian plain and its mountain range, based on the previously compiled geomorphological formation map. The applied method for assessing off-road terrain for groups of moving objects included the following operations: the construction of a map of geomorphological formations, the grouping of selected areas into classes similar in terms of transport permeability, field calibration of each type of geomorphological formation by the criterion of transport permeability, represented as the number of passes per 10 km2, the unification of contours with the same characteristics of transport permeability.
