The worldview of the ethnic group and the ethnic aspects of collective consciousness

The study deals with various aspects of collective consciousness and their manifestation in the worldview of the ethnic group. The author examines the factor in ethnic identity in a wide range of elements of its social organization and cultural life. The research demonstrates the development process of the ethnic culture and the worldview of the ethnic group and determines its basic collective characteristics inherent in all its representatives. The author analyzes the manner of reflecting different aspects of the ethnic life in the culture and worldview of the ethnic group. The research traces the creation of the ethnic image of the world during the ethnic development, i.e. the vision and perception of the reality by the ethnic group in all its many facets and manifestations, including the determination of its place in the reality. It is argued that the most complete image of the world and the worldview are reflected in the collective consciousness of the ethnic group. The novelty of the study is to focus on the problems of collective memory, collective consciousness, the image of the world, ethnic consciousness, and, thus, make an attempt to summarize the achievements of various sciences in cultural studies.
