Mapping of rock art is not possible without the use of modern GIS technologies. Construction of an interactive map of the petroglyphs of Chagan valley using components of Google Maps and software interface with Google Maps API was implemented on a monument Sook-Tyt. The result is a petroglyphs database, which will evolve and grow. A mode of limited access to data on petroglyphs in order to protect them is provided. Another result of the work in 2016 is a simulation plot terrain situated on a rocky surface it with drawings.
