Categorial structure and content of the extremist image of police employees

The relevance of this research is dictated by the key fact that organized crime, along with the largest international network criminal organizations, successfully uses the seats of interethnic disunity, problems among the new rising generation for «recruiting» new participants in order to expand spheres of influence in the political and economic arenas of the country. In the article the author has fixed the main reasons for the emergence and spread of religious extremism: the historical and doctrinal factor, the modernization factor, the geopolitical factor, the global factor, etc. Inclination towards extremism can be considered as a kind of «talent», which has a sharply negative character. Every talent is known to be developed. The same applies to the propensity for extremism. Extremist inclinations are given to the subject only in the makings and may or may not manifest themselves depending on the environment in which the personality is being formed. The following components of the personality of an extremist are distinguished in the article: mental disorders (narcissism, propensity to affective states), the presence of attitudes, the image of the enemy, the opposition to the external world, the desire to reach the goal the shortest way, the denial of compromise, the use of force methods of pressure, the action on the principle «the end justifies means», the propensity to aggression, cruelty, the ability to use violence for their own interests, the low significance of human life both for oneself and for others.
