Category of “risk” as an interdisciplinary one in sciences of criminal legal cycle

The article deals with the category of “risk”, which is the subject of research in many legal sciences, in particular, criminal law. The author points out, that risk is a way to overcome legal uncertainty in the regulation of public relations. It is noted that the study of risk as a legal concept has positive results in the aspect of control for emerging uncertain situations and the context of possible risks in existing public relations in order to control them and timely respond to their manifestations. With regard to each science of the criminal law group, situations of uncertainty associated with the risk of an unfavorable result are indicated, which can affect the legal state as a whole.
