Category of the semantic chronotope and the essence of works of art

Culture and its highest expression - the art - is structured as a semantic space-time system, the chronotope. Artificially created things belongs to the culture, part of its semantic space. The cultural space is perceived as a horizon of human culture, database, archives, accumulated by the mankind, the tradition in which civilization exists. The value of the cultural space - the chronotope - is that it forms the environment of the human world and at the same time, through artistic expression in art, everyday life is opposed to determinate being. In the present work for the first time in philosophical science introduces categories of the semantic chronotope and the material chronotope, different macro-and micro-levels of their ontological organization, essential content and value.
