The justice category in Russian modern legal system

The article is devoted to the issues of interrelation and interaction of justice and law. It provides an analysis of modern theo- retical approaches to understanding the relationship between the ethical category of justice and law. Considerable attention is paid to the study of the essence and the concept of justice as a universal and a multidisciplinary category of ethics. Justice is viewed as an ethical category based on the assessment of due actions and retribution. An analysis of the main directions of the relationship of justice with the legal system of the Russian Federation is carried out on the basis of the current Russian legislation.
