Cossack topos in Nicholas Kelin's works

The article assesses the work of Nicholas Kelin, a writer, representing the first wave of Russian emigration. The author of the article, noting the role played by “Cossack” Russian emigré literature in the preservation and strengthening of the best traditions of the Russian Cossacks, indicates that still the works of emigrant Cossack writers, recognized by many modern scholars in Russia and abroad, has not been the subject of in-depth research in the domestic literature.
