The way to understand mathematics lies through the assimilation of mathematical concepts, which is impossible without well-formed abstract-analytical and figurative-geometric thinking. The article reveals the essence and clarifies the role of case technologies as one of the means of forming geometric concepts. Examples of the use of case technologies in teaching concepts are given.
