Ceramic complex of Mahanjar culture in the system of Neolithic antiquities of Eurasian steppes
Бесплатный доступ
The article is devoted to the ceramic complex of the Mahanjar culture and its relationship with other ceramic Neolithic complexes of the Eurasian steppes (Atbasar, Oyukly, Daryasai, Dereivka, cultures of the Trans-Urals). Many signs of Oyukly and Daryasai ceramics (profiling necks, thin-walled, ornament, etc.) have direct analogies in Mahanjar ceramics. The chronology (VI-V millennium BC) is specified, and the territory of the Mahanjar culture extension is enlarged, due to the inclusion of Petropavlovsk Priishimye. In addition, the article raises the issue of the coexistence of Mahanjar culture with other Neolithic cultures of the Trans-Urals. A review of the analogies of Mahanjar ceramics allows the author to say that the Mahanjar culture is not an isolated phenomenon, and it is only a matter of time to identify new close to the Mahanjar materials in different regions of the steppe and forest-steppe Eurasia.
