The article presents the results of the technical and technological analysis of ceramics found at the cultic complexes of the eastern variant of the Pakhomovo culture at the site of Tartas-1. Five recipes of ceramic raw materials have been distinguished: clay + chamotte + organic solution; clay + chamotte + manure; clay + chamotte + crushed stone + organic solution; clay + crushed stone; глина + crushed stone (granite) + crushed stone (limestone). Three groups of pottery have been identified. The first group includes the dishware of the eastern variant of the Pakhomovo culture; the second group is the pottery similar to the ceramics of the Begazy-Dandybaj culture; the third group includes the dishware which resulted from the mixed pottery traditions of both cultures. In addition, a fragment of the circular ceramics of Namazga VI was found together with the ceramics of the eastern variant of the Pakhomovo culture, which indicates the southern contacts of the Baraba forest-steppe population with the agricultural tribes of Central Asia.
