Cybercrime in the teenage environment: forms and methods of prevention

Recently, there has been a trend in the modern world towards a significant increase in cases of hacking of computer systems, victims of hacker attacks and other crimes. The most gullible and vulnerable in these situations are teenagers who, trying to cope with their experiences, go into their own world through virtual friends, computer games, books, and therefore most often become victims of cybercriminals. A survey of 8th grade students was conducted in order to study students' ideas about cybercrime and their attitude to this activity. Based on the results of the survey, the forms of organization of preventive work in an educational institution are proposed. The article briefly describes the main ways to prevent cybercrime among adolescents: the creation of a school club or a cybersecurity circle, holding contests, Olympiads, projects, games and quests, the use of Internet resources. The necessity of cooperation of the educational institution with departmental structures on combating cybercrime is emphasized.
