To adapt borrowings to a new language environment not only semantic but also grammatical adaption is required. The article considers participation of Chinese borrowings in adjectives formation in Mongolian and Buryat languages by morphological elements of verb and non-verb basis. An important factor of its adaptation is its word formation abilities. In Mongolian languages word formation is made by morphological and syntactic methods. The most important morphological method is suffixal which is used by all changeable parts of speech. Almost all Chinese borrowings are nouns. From the basis of nouns by morphological elements of borrowing language not only verbs and adverbs, but also adjectives were formed. Also by denominative affixes of Mongolian languages denominatives were made. New words with Chinese borrowings were formed by the following most productive ways: addition affixes to Chinese borrowings and compound words containing Chinese borrowed words.
