Chinese hieroglyphics and its place in the modern world

The article deals with the modern era in the history of hieroglyphics, which began with the loss of the state status of the ancient Chinese language (wenyang). The article analyzes the process of simplification of written speech associated with the transition to mass education and the translation of education into the spoken language. It also deals with process of reformation of Chinese written language, from ancient times to nowadays, as well as the position of hieroglyphics in China which is now considered by it in details.
