The Chinese dream as an ideological concept in the new era of the PRC

The process of accumulation and integration of public interests in China gradually began to occur mainly on the basis of an authoritarian model of political governance. According to researchers, the failure of the ideology of the state leads to social disorder and the collapse of the country, as happened with the USSR. In order to overcome the influence of the ideology of “universal values” within China, experts suggest creating “common values” in order to integrate the progressive aspirations of the vast majority of members of Chinese society. An example is the political concept of the “Chinese dream”. The Communist Party of China and the scientific circles of the Celestial Society have closely linked it with the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese specifics, which has the goal of uniting the nation, on the one hand, and on the other - demonstrating its model of modernization of society to other countries as a promising model of transformation. The “Chinese Dream” allows us to strive for unity while preserving our own individuality, to fight against “historical nihilism” in order to protect the historical legitimacy of the CPC government.
