Processing of Molybdenum Ores from the Botakoz Deposit

Laboratory studies were carried out on the Balkhash ore of the Botakoz deposit. At the same time, the Mo content in the initial ore was 0.056%; in the concentrate -41.35%; and the extraction was 52.17%. The experiments were carried out at different grinding sizes with a content of 0.074 mm, and the effect of various CaO and Na2CO3 costs was studied. The optimal grinding size has been determined, as well as reagent costs, which ensure an increase in technological performance.
