This study examines the energy challenges facing Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and explores potential Sino-Russian collaboration to improve their energy supply. LDCs generally suffer from low energy accessibility and insufficient supply, which severely constrains their economic development and sustainable growth. China and Russia can support LDCs in developing clean, efficient, and sustainable energy systems through multiple approaches: proposing novel theories for incremental carbon emission rights allocation, enhancing energy trade partnerships, facilitating technology transfer and capacity building, and strengthening infrastructure investment. This collaborative not only provides crucial support for LDCs' energy transition and economic advancement but also contributes to global climate governance and energy landscape optimization.
