The hoard from the Dyakovo hillfort: a new glance at traditional finds

The paper examines the items from the hoard from the Dyakovo hillfort donated to the Imperial Russian Historical Museum by D. Ya. Samokvasov. After analyzing the records, the State Historical Museum succeeded in reconstructing the composition of a portion of this hoard that the scholar had bought from peasants. This assemblage of items is closely linked to the Ryazan Oka region and, apparently, is a scrap of non-ferrous metals for jewelry production.
