Classicism in cult architecture of South Ural and classical features in modern architecture

In the article the author tries to analyze the typical features of classicism in the architecture of cult buildings of South Ural. Activity of the most influential architects of the first half of the XIX century in the region has been reviewed. Author puts into circulation a big amount of descriptions of landmarks and modern buildings. The analysis of landmarks and modern cult buildings has been done basing on archive data and architectural investigations of Chelyabinsk and Orenburg regions.
