Classification of self boundaries by flexibility levels

The flexibility of self boundaries is explored on a representative sample of 192 people with use of symbol development and verbal construction of the object test, designed for originality of thinking diagnostics. Authors based on assumption that the flexible self boundaries correspond to a high thinking originality and Vice versa. It’s shown that only 5% of sample have unambiguously rigid self boundaries, about a third od respondents (38%) show flexibility only in socially-normative situations given from the outside and about 57% - are flexible regardless the situation.
