Classification of procedural costs: approaches to the formation of criteria

The article analyzes the criteria for the formation of classification of procedural costs arising from the parties in the process of criminal proceedings. Consideration of the criteria for classification of procedural costs proposed by modern authors allows to make a theoretical analysis of the classifications of costs and to identify the scientific justification of procedural costs that have developed in the Russian criminal process. It should be taken into account the fact that the scientific classification of payments of procedural costs also allows the most accurate reflection of the existing system of procedural costs in the criminal process, which are the practical implementation of criminal proceedings. Research result - the analysis of experts ' points of view on the choice of criteria used in the classification of procedural costs in criminal proceedings is carried out. The author States the fact that there is no single point of view on the issue under consideration. The analysis of the procedural costs, the author has selected numerous criteria, applied by the experts when classifying the latter in criminal proceedings: according to the criterion of the expenditure; according to the criterion of the inner nature of the procedural costs; the criterion for considering the circumstances in the criminal proceedings; according to the criterion of actual cost; on the basis of a kind stages of the criminal process; on the basis of the type of proceedings in a criminal case.
