The ideological and artistic originality of V.S. Makanin's story is revealed. His creative works were influenced by postmodernism and are in the frame of narrative traditions of realistic writing connected with A.S. Pushkin, M.U. Lermontov, L.N. Tolstoy, F.M. Dostoevsky and others.
