Clustering of sub-national economies in partnership with TNC: threats and possibilities

The article focuses on strategy elaborating for efficient development of national and sub-national economic systems, on its competitive strength increase in the context of economic globalization and TNC increasing activity. One of these strategies becomes clustering of national economy in partnership with large international companies, interested in direct investing in Russia. The author performs an integrated analysis of threats and possibilities of clusters' activation in partnership with TNC. The analysis results reasonably should be taken into account while strategy planning of spatial development of country's regions and macroregions.
