Cluster approach as a factor of development of the economy of the region

Currently, it is very important to determine the priority directions of development of the regional economy. The article describes the characteristics of the current economic development trends and identifies priority areas for the formation of regional clusters, and argues the idea of creating innovative clusters as conditions for improving the competitiveness of the national economy and ensuring the strategy of the socio-economic development of the region.
