The article observes climate and ESG regulatory instruments in Mexico, one of the most developed countries in LA, suffering from climate change and responsible for greenhouse gas emissions due to its specialization. Climate change mitigation and adaptation measures are outlined on example of agriculture and oil production. The features of trading emission rights, carbon taxes and climate finance instruments are revealed - emission of green, sustainable and social bonds.
