Clinical anatomy of masticatory muscles from the position of kinematics and dynamics of the mandible

This article presents an overview of modern ideas about the clinical anatomy of the temporomandibular joint and masticatory muscles. The human body is a complex biomechanical system, however, most movements are based on a system of supports, levers and applied forces. Knowledge of the clinical anatomy of the masticatory muscles is necessary for a dentist at a clinical appointment to determine the tactics of patient management, as well as understanding the processes of biomechanics of the maxillofacial region.
