A special place among the diseases associated with periodontitis is occupied by cardiovascular, endocrine, gastrointestinal diseases, as well as skeletal lesions. One of the most common causes of resistance of generalized periodontitis to local treatment is the presence of an uncontrolled pathology in the patient, which significantly reduces the effectiveness of periodontal treatment. In this work, we examined and treated patients with vitamin D deficiency in the body.
