To obtain an objective picture of the nature of the effect of feed additives and preparations, it is often required to carry out diagnostics using clinical methods, including blood analysis, temperature, pulse and respiratory rate. Blood is one of the most important systems of the body, playing a significant role in its life. It performs various functions, providing the necessary conditions for the functioning of all tissues. Most of the changes occurring in the body of animals are displayed in the blood, both with age and with a change in the type of feeding and housing system. One of the factors provoking changes in the body in one direction or another is the use of biologically active substances. In this regard, an experiment was conducted to determine the clinical parameters of calves after feeding pro- and prebiotic supplements.
