The paper describes the epidemiology, etiology and diagnostic aspects of phlegmon of the stomach on the basis of the literature. Features rare clinical observations phlegmon of the stomach, showing that the disease has a characteristic symptom (intoxication, dyspepsia, hyperthermia, gastric bleeding), allowing for the appropriate endoscopic picture suspect phlegmon of the stomach. Shown that early surgical treatment in the majority of cases ensures a successful outcome.
