Clinical features of patients with arterial hypertension in patients with hyperuricemia

Hyperurekemia is considered as a part of cardiovascular disease, as a risk factor for the development of chronic heart failure.Over the past decade, more and more data has been accumulating on the role of uric acid in the development of cardiovascular diseases, comparable with other metabolic risk factors, the relationship between uric acid levels and the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. The paper presents the latest data from international studies devoted to the study of gout, hyperuricemia and their relationship with hypertension.
