Clinical consequences of the base therapy refusal by the patients with bronchial asthma

Article contains the main characteristics of the clinical condition changes in cases of refusal of the base therapy by the patients with Bronchial Asthma (BA). Comparisons made with patients received regular base therapy and with never used it. It has been shown that refusal of the base therapy makes worsening of the external breath function indices, growing of the rescue medication inhalations and increasing of the exacerbation risk. Eventually decreasing these indices was slowed down.
