Primary hyperparathyroidism, due to the development of multiple adenomas of the parathyroid glands, is quite rare. The frequency of occurrence, according to different data, fluctuates and is up to 5% of all cases of primary hyperparathyroidism. As a rule, the main cause of this disease is a solitary adenoma (80-85% of cases), the rest is hyperplasia and cancer of the parathyroid glands. The article deals with the clinical case of primary hyperparathyroidism in a patient with multiple adenoma of parathyroid glands.
