Infringement in inguinal hernia is the most frequent complication and according to the data of domestic authors 12-18% of all cases of the disease. Most often, the small intestine (63-68%), then the omentum (16-20%), the large intestine (6-8%), at the same time the small and large intestine (3-4%), the omentum and gut (4-5%). Infringement of the appendix in the inguinal hernia (hernia of Amiand) is extremely rare and occurs in only 0,2-2,0% of cases. The article describes the clinical case of infringement of the appendix in the right-sided recurrent oblique inguinal hernia.
